This agreement is designed for situations where a horse owner consigns their horse to another party for sale, such as with a trainer or sale barn. Designed to protect both sales agent and horse owner, this agreement assumes the horse will be in the custody of the sales agent during the sale period. It covers all expenses, including commissions, boarding and training, vet and farrier care and what happens if the horse doesn’t sell.
